Quando pensavo di aver ascoltato di tutto, ecco che, in qualche modo, mi viene segnalata questa band franco-spagnola. Di base a Orléans, due componenti spagnoli e tre francesi, cantano in castigliano (comunemente conosciuto come spagnolo, non vi ammorbo oltre con la spiegazione pignola e dettagliata); il genere, qui sta il bello, è una stranissima e affascinante miscela di death metal e flamenco, con degli inserti sinfonici e orchestrali. Alternanza tra voce pulita e growl, e un'altalena tra le due principali influenze, entrambe suonate in modo convincente. Liriche ispirate alla cultura ispanica, decisamente critica con le malefatte varie. Si inizia l'ascolto molto dubbiosi, ma dopo un po', se ne viene conquistati.
Just when I thought I'd heard it all, this Franco-Spanish band somehow came to my attention. Based in Orléans, two Spanish and three French members sing in Castilian (commonly known as Spanish; I won't bore you with a fussy and detailed explanation). The genre, and here's the beauty of it, is a strange and fascinating blend of death metal and flamenco, with symphonic and orchestral inserts. Alternating between clean vocals and growls, they alternate between the two main influences, both played convincingly. The lyrics are inspired by Hispanic culture, and they're decidedly critical of various misdeeds. You might start listening with some hesitation, but after a while, you'll be won over.
