Cari vecchi, come me del resto, vi ho già detto più volte che dovete arrendervi, ad un certo punto. Questa è la musica che va per la maggiore adesso, tra i giovanissimi: si chiama trap. I tre di Lawrenceville, Georgia, Quavo, Offset e Takeoff (tutti e tre parenti tra di loro, zii e cugini, ma tutti tra i 23 e i 26 anni, attualmente), attivi anche singolarmente, formano i Migos (casa abbandonata, usata per il consumo o la produzione di droghe) nel 2009, e questo è il loro terzo disco, che segue di un anno esatto il precedente Culture. Un disco lunghissimo (24 tracce), che non brilla per varietà ma che ugualmente, contiene diversi singoli che faranno (o che hanno già fatto, vedi MotorSport e Stir Fry) fortuna, e che naturalmente, vede una lista infinita di collaborazioni.
I tre non sono esattamente stinchi di santo, così come vuole la tradizione hip hop, quindi hanno pure l'aura giusta. So che è ridondante dirlo, ma hanno già dei seguaci e degli imitatori pure in Italia (ne abbiamo parlato), e ascoltandoli, riconoscerete pure che anche nell'universo rap c'è una sorta di evoluzione, e si inglobano, manipolandole per creare qualcosa di diverso, le cose del passato.

The three are not exactly saints, as the hip hop tradition wants, so they also have the right aura. I know it's redundant to say, but they already have followers and imitators as well in Italy (we talked about it), and listening to them, you will also recognize that even in the rap universe there is a sort of evolution, and are incorporated, manipulating them to create something different things from the past.
