Gira e rigira, non vi ho mai parlato di questa seminale ed importantissima band norvegese, che ha da qualche tempo celebrato i 25 anni di attività. L'ultimo album nasce dall'invito fatto alla band di comporre dei pezzi per le celebrazioni del centenario di attività del Norwegian Technical Museum, insieme al tastierista jazz Stale Storlokken (che aveva già collaborato con i Motorpsycho), anche se sul disco, le tastiere sono state poi suonate da Thomas Henriksen, che potremo definire un membro aggiunto.
Il disco ha un'atmosfera spesso rilassata, a metà tra l'attitudine psichedelica soft alla Pink Floyd e il flower power californiano (Lacuna/Sunrise, Running With Scissors, Spin Spin Spin, quest'ultima una cover degli H. P. Lovecraft), mentre l'unica vera "cavalcata" rock è I.M.S., insieme ad una parte della suite conclusiva Big Black Dog.

Goes round and round, I never talked about this seminal and important Norwegian band, which has for some time now celebrated 25 years of activity. The last album was born from the invitation made to the band to compose tracks for the celebrations of the centenary of activity of the Norwegian Technical Museum, along with jazz keyboardist Stale Storlokken (who previously collaborated with Motorpsycho), even on the album, keyboards were then played by Thomas Henriksen, that we can define an added member.
The album has often relaxed atmosphere, halfway between the soft-psychedelic attitude of Pink Floyd, and the Californian flower power ("Lacuna / Sunrise", "Running With Scissors", "Spin Spin Spin", the latter a cover version of H.P. Lovecraft), while the only real rock "cavalcade" is "I.M.S.", along with a portion of the final suite "Big Black Dog".
Technical and tasty together.
