Quinto disco per la gallese, che è stata definita una dadaista musicale. L'unico paragone che mi viene da fare è con St. Vincent, trovo corretto che la si etichetti come art pop, ha una splendida voce, e si, spesso le sue canzoni sono come dei puzzle. Su questo disco spesso c'è in evidenza un sax, usato però in modo molto particolare, e il songwriting è senza dubbio sapiente, seppure strano. Sicuramente, un album fuori dagli schemi per un'artista che ha saputo creare un suono distintivo.
Fifth record for the Welsh singer/musician, which has been called a musical Dadaist. The only comparison that comes to my mind is with St. Vincent, I find it correct that her music is labeled as art pop, she has a splendid voice, and yes, her songs are often like puzzles. On this record there is often a sax in evidence, but used in a very particular way, and the songwriting is undoubtedly wise, albeit strange. Surely, an album outside the box for an artist who has been able to create a distinctive sound.
