Per Marnie e Desi è arrivato il giorno del matrimonio; hanno deciso per l'Upstate, in campagna, la location è magnifica ma la situazione è tesissima. Marnie è maniacale, e quando Hannah si presenta con Fran, il suo nuovo fidanzato, incarica Shoshanna di allontanarlo e di metterlo nella parte della casa "dedicata" ai ragazzi. Naturalmente si ritrova fianco a fianco con Adam (che nel frattempo sta nascondendo la sua relazione con Jessa a tutti), e ne esce un altro momento imbarazzante. Mai quanto quello che è costretto a vivere Ray, che contro ogni sua volontà si ritrova a calmare Desi, che dà fuori di matto grazie ai suoi nervosismi prematrimoniali.
Come sapete, continuo a seguire Girls e continuo a non capirlo. Anzi, questo è quello che continuo a ripetere a me stesso, mentendo: se non lo trovassi un minimo interessante, lo avrei mollato da un pezzo. E' che non riesco a spiegare (e a spiegarmi) come riesca ad interessarmi una serie dove tutti i personaggi, con pochissime eccezioni in quelli minori, sono uomini o donne che non hanno la minima idea di cosa fare nella vita, sono insicuri a livelli inquietanti, commettono errori continuamente senza mai impararne niente. Magari è proprio questo. Detto questo, situazioni sempre altamente imbarazzanti e divertentissime, spesso difficilmente credibili (questo mi fa pensare che siano ispirati a fatti realmente accaduti), recitazioni tutte sopra le righe, Lena Dunham indisponente come sempre, finale apprezzabile.
