Un caleidoscopio caldo e scoppiettante, ma anche profondissimo, cantato e suonato con il classico cuore in mano. Dice bene Matthew Ismael Ruiz nel suo pezzo sul già citato Pitchfork: Pa'lante (contrazione di por adelante, avanti) è una sorta di chiamata alle armi di tutti i diseredati contro la supremazia bianca. "From El Barrio to Arecibo/From Marble Hill to the ghost of Emmett Till" è un incipit straordinario. Disco da intenditori.
