Il secondo disco della cantautrice folk neozelandese Hannah Harding in arte Aldous contiene decisamente delle gemme preziose (I'm So Sorry, Horizon, Swell Does the Skull), a cominciare dal pezzo che potete ascoltare nel video clip annesso, Imagining My Man. Anche se la produzione di John Parish, e perfino la sua bellezza irregolare, definiamola così, potrebbero far pensare ad una nuova PJ Harvey, come dice la sempre acuta Kitty Empire su The Guardian, "Harding is her own woman", Harding è lei e non una nuova qualcuno. Estensione vocale impressionante (a volte si ha l'impressione di ascoltare cantanti diverse, se mettete a confronto il pezzo citato prima con la seguente Living the Classics sembra quasi impossibile che a cantarla sia la stessa voce), piglio soave ma deciso, folk che spazia dall'americana a qualcosa di molto più gotico, canzoni intense e strumenti appena sfiorati. Da tenere d'occhio: per il momento, almeno nel suo campo, uno dei dischi più belli dell'anno.

Awesome vocal extension (sometimes you have the impression of listening to different singers, if you compare the track I mentioned earlier with the following "Living the Classics", it seems almost impossible that could be sing by the same voice), gentle but decided, folk that goes from the americana to something much more gothic, intense songs and just brushed instruments. To keep an eye on: for the moment, at least in its field, one of the most beautiful records of the year.
