Per rimanere nel campo del classic punk rock, oggi vi voglio parlare di una band che ha una storia piuttosto lunga alle spalle, essendosi formata nel 1991 a Victorville, California, dal frontman e chitarrista Trever Keith, unico ancora nella formazione oggigiorno, e dagli allora bassista e batterista Matt Riddle e Rob Kurth. Acquistano una certa notorietà nel 1995, quando il loro pezzo Disconnected, contenuto nel secondo disco Big Choice, viene usato per i film Tank Girl (che aveva una grandissima colonna sonora) e La scuola più pazza del mondo (National Lampoon's Senior Trip). Svariati cambi di formazione e uno iato che durò dal 2003 al 2008, l'anno scorso in marzo hanno fatto uscire il loro nono disco in studio, dal titolo Protection. Sul punk rock c'è poco da dire, è un tipo di musica abbastanza stereotipata, ma che personalmente mi fa godere quando suonata come si deve. E' proprio il caso dei Face to Face, e di questo intero Protection, che contiene pezzi eccitanti (tra tutti, davvero buoni, il mio preferito è It Almost All Went Wrong) e molto ben suonati. Attitudine abbastanza fuck off and die, disco come detto godibilissimo.

Attitude pretty "fuck off and die", album, as already said, truly enjoyable.
