Quarto album in studio delicato e raffinato, questo della cantante, compositrice, chitarrista e produttrice proveniente dalla Virginia. Seppure, dopo l'intro Calliope Prelude, Big Deal odori tantissimo di Jeff Buckley, le si perdona questo ed altro, non fosse altro per le comparsate delle amiche e colleghe Phoebe Bridgers (Modigliani, Forever Is a Feeling) e Julien Baker (Talk, Forever Is a Feeling, Most Wanted Man). C'è pure Hozier su Bullseye, ma insomma, è il tripudio dell'alternative folk pop indie, è molto bello da ascoltare, e va bene così.

Even though, after the intro Calliope Prelude, Big Deal smells a lot of Jeff Buckley, we forgive her for that and more, if only for the appearances of friends and colleagues Phoebe Bridgers (Modigliani, Forever Is a Feeling) and Julien Baker (Talk, Forever Is a Feeling, Most Wanted Man). There's also Hozier on Bullseye, but anyway, it's the triumph of alternative folk pop indie, it's very beautiful to listen to, and that's fine.
