La voce è interessante, più verso tonalità alte che verso quelle basse, gli arrangiamenti sono ben fatti, e spesso, riesce a scrivere canzoni davvero coinvolgenti (vi basti ascoltare Us). Ha 27 anni, e credo sarà da seguire.
Second full length album for the English singer-songwriter, that comes from Hitchin, Hertfordshire. A strange, not too much of these times, mix of influences and genres, create its kind, not easy to define. It's not really rock, but it's not even too pop; there is certainly soul, and even gospel, there is the influence of the new avant-garde soul singers like Bon Iver and James Blake, there is a bit of Americana, and so on.
