Passo dopo passo, la band di Goteborg arriva al quinto disco, il primo dopo lo scioglimento del 2016, che fortunatamente è durato solo un anno. La formazione, da questo scioglimento e dalla conseguente riunione, si è rimessa insieme perdendo il batterista originale Axel Sjoberg, rimpiazzato da Oskar Bergenheim. Per il resto, mi pare che l'energia e la voglia di suonare quello che potremo definire uno straighforward rock blues, sia rimasta intatta. Il buon tocco compositivo mi pare, anche quello, decisamente intatto: se, infatti, vogliamo trovare un difetto a Peace, è quello di somigliare molto ai suoi predecessori. Per il resto, 42 minuti circa di ottimo hard rock blues suonato con sapienza, non una canzone brutta, e via così: ci piace moltissimo.
Step by step, the band from Gothenburg, Sweden, arrives on the fifth album, the first after the disbanded of 2016, which fortunately lasted only a year. The lineup, from this disbandment and the consequent reunion, has come back together losing the original drummer Axel Sjoberg, replaced by Oskar Bergenheim. For the rest, it seems to me that the energy and the desire to play what we can call a straighforward rock blues, has remained intact. The good compositional touch seems to me, even that, definitely intact: if, in fact, we want to find a flaw in Peace, it is to resemble very much its predecessors. For the rest, about 42 minutes of excellent hard rock blues played with wisdom, not a bad song, and so on: we like it very much.
