Sesto disco per la meravigliosa voce spagnola di Buika (María Concepción Balboa Buika), di cui vi ho già parlato, adesso residente a Miami, Florida, risalente al 2015 (nel frattempo ne è uscito un altro, ne parleremo). Il disco è il solito caleidoscopio di generi, soprattutto latini, ed è il primo nel quale Buika canta anche in inglese, e addirittura, in alcuni testi, passa dallo spagnolo all'inglese. C'è un duetto con Jason Mraz su Carry Your Own Weight, e le canzoni sono tutte meravigliose, testi compresi (Buika è pure poetessa, oltre che scrittrice, fotografa, e vorrebbe trarre e dirigere un film da una sua poesia); nel caso foste indecisi, prendete questo disco e cominciate ad ascoltarlo dall'ultima canzone, Sister. Vi innamorerete.
Sixth disc for the wonderful Spanish voice of Buika (María Concepción Balboa Buika), of which I have already spoken, now living in Miami, Florida, dating back to 2015 (in the meantime another one came out, we'll talk about it). The disc is the usual kaleidoscope of genres, especially of Latin rhythms, and is the first in which Buika sings in English, and even, in some texts, it goes from Spanish to English. There is a duet with Jason Mraz on Carry Your Own Weight, and the songs are all wonderful, including lyrics (Buika is also a poet, as well as a writer, photographer, and she would like to write and direct a film from one of her poems); if you are undecided, take this record and start listening to it from the last song, Sister. You will fall in love.
