Mancina, ottima chitarrista (lo stile è degno di nota), timbro vocale interessante (c'è chi lo definisce deadpan, impassibile, ed è probabile che la cosa sia voluta, visto che si unisce a testi spiritosi e nonsense). Il disco vede le apparizioni delle sorelle Deal (Pixies, Breeders), ed è un gioiellino indie rock, con influenze che partono dal grunge: c'è chi l'ha paragonata ai Pavement, chi a Liz Phair. Le canzoni sono ben scritte, e alcune colpiscono e rimangono. La ragazza è lesbica dichiarata, impegnata con la collega e compatriota Jen Cloher.
