Al decimo album, Marshall Mathers paga dazio ai Beastie Boys, almeno con la copertina. E' un buon inizio, direi. A livello musicale e di flow, Eminem è, a mio giudizio, ancora uno dei migliori rapper in circolazione. Il problema viene con i contenuti: pensate solo che Justin Vernon (Bon Iver), che secondo indiscrezioni appare su Fall, ha disconosciuto la sua partecipazione al disco, sostenendo che non era in studio al momento della registrazione (appare comunque nei crediti di quella traccia). Non credo molto alle faide (feud) alimentate dalle diss tracks, canzoni in cui si attaccano palesemente altri artisti, visto che tutti quelli coinvolti ne guadagnano in pubblicità, ma il fatto che continui ad usare insulti omofobi, questo mi porta naturalmente a condannarlo. Detto questo, ribadisco, a livello musicale, il disco è valido e pure divertente. Partecipazioni per Joyner Lucas, Royce da 5'9'', Jessie Reyez.
On the tenth album, Marshall Mathers paid homage to the Beastie Boys, at least with the cover. It's a good start, I would say.
