Con questo Myopia, la cantante, musicista e compositrice danese, arriva al quarto album. Parlandone, ha dichiarato "Per me Myopia è un album di fiducia e dubbio. Puoi fidarti di te stesso o no? Puoi fidarti dei tuoi giudizi? Puoi fidarti che farai la cosa giusta? Puoi fidarti del tuo istinto e di ciò che senti? O i tuoi sentimenti sono distorti?". Lo stile, oserei dire inimitabile, di Agnes, è intatto, ed è, per chi non lo conoscesse ancora, un qualcosa di molto legato alla musica sinfonica, quasi antica potremmo dire, ma con un respiro senza tempo. E' vero, come sottolineano in molti, che c'è un senso di solitudine, che traspare, sensazione aiutata dal fatto che lungo le dieci tracce, c'è solo la sua voce ed il suo pianoforte, e poco più. E sicuramente, la stessa introduzione dell'artista che citavamo poc'anzi, cementa la convinzione che sia un disco introspettivo. Certamente, non c'è introspezione più dolce e gentile di quella di Myopia.

It is true, as many people point out, that there is a sense of solitude, which shines through, a feeling helped by the fact that along the ten tracks, there is only her voice and her piano, and little more. And surely, the same introduction by the artist we mentioned earlier, cementes the belief that it is an introspective album. Of course, there is no sweeter and gentler introspection than that of Myopia.
