Il nono album in studio della band proveniente da Orlando, Florida, è una sorta di reminder: questo è l'heavy metal classico nel 2020. La struttura che, appunto, possiamo definire classica al giorno d'oggi, ha inglobato elementi di metalcore, thrash, progressive, groove, e addirittura di death metal. Strutture complesse (Iron Maiden, Metallica), cantato harsh e clean alternato, armonici e assoli con due chitarre (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest), ritmiche compresse e robuste (Metallica, tutto il thrash, il groove). Lo so, l'analisi è fin troppo semplicistica, ma credo che ci siamo capiti. I Trivium fanno questa cosa alla perfezione, e sono molto bravi a trovare la melodia in ogni parte della forma-canzone. Un disco che potete anche ascoltare a ripetizione per qualche giorno. Poi, ovviamente, non ve ne ricorderete più.

I know, the analysis is all too simplistic, but I think we understand each other. Trivium does this perfectly, and they are very good at finding melody in every part of the musical form. A record that you can also listen to repeatedly for a few days. Then, of course, you won't remember it anymore.
