Anche se non lo considererei un album (e infatti qualcuno scrive EP), la band polacca continua a fare quello che riesce loro meglio, un black metal robusto e talmente melodico che per loro ed altri, è stata creata la sottoetichetta "blackened". Il lavoro contiene qualche inedito, un paio di ri-registrazioni di classici del loro passato, e un paio di chicche piuttosto gustose: “In League With Satan” (dei Venom, con la partecipazione di Shagrath dei Dimmu Borgir) e “The Return of Darkness and Evil” (dei Bathory, con la partecipazione di Sakis Tolis dei Rotting Christ). Insomma, non sembrano intenzionati ad andare in pensione.
Although I wouldn't quite call it an album (and indeed, some label it an EP), the Polish band continues doing what they do best: robust black metal that is so melodic it spawned the "blackened" sub-genre tag for them and others. The release features some new material, a couple of re-recordings of past classics, and a few truly tasty treats: "In League With Satan" (by Venom, featuring Shagrath from Dimmu Borgir) and "The Return of Darkness and Evil" (by Bathory, featuring Sakis Tolis from Rotting Christ). In short, they show no signs of retiring.
