Dovrebbe essere il quarto disco (non contando un debutto autoprodotto nel 2011), questo Deadbeat Graffiti, per il duo originario di Toronto, Ontario, Canada, ma oggi di base ad Austin, Texas, US. Eric Owen, batteria, e Kevin McKeown, voce e chitarra, ricordano tantissimo i The Black Keys, forse addirittura più grezzi, e qua e là anche i primi White Stripes. Il disco è dello scorso anno, e inanella una serie di pezzi (dodici) piuttosto brevi, concisi, diretti, orecchiabili, con una base rock blues molto robusta. Naturalmente arrangiamenti stringati, voce interessante.
It should be the fourth album (not counting a self-produced debut in 2011), this Deadbeat Graffiti, for the duo originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, but today based in Austin, Texas, US. Eric Owen, drums, and Kevin McKeown, voice and guitar, remember The Black Keys a lot, maybe even more rough, and here and there even the first White Stripes. The album is from last year, and it rings a series of tracks (twelve) rather short, concise, direct, catchy, with a very robust rock blues base. Naturally string arrangements, interesting voice.
