Profonda virata stilistica, per il quinto disco della band dei fratelli Leto, dall'arena rock all'elettronica più o meno pop. Una virata che poteva essere intuibile, ma che comunque, a mio giudizio risulta significativa sempre più, del fatto che questa band fa sul serio, e non è per nulla un divertissement del capace attore statunitense e dei suoi amichetti. Super melodico e coinvolgente, i Thirty Seconds to Mars conservano la grandeur melodica da stadio per effettuare un'operazione di "elettrificazione" del loro originale rock un po' emo un po' pop, un po' alternativo e un po' scopiazzato, per entrare in una nuova dimensione, che mi pare interessante, e che mi incuriosisce più della precedente.
Deep stylistic change, for the fifth album of the band of the Leto brothers, from the rock arena to more or less pop electronics. A turn that could be guessed, but that anyway, in my opinion is more and more significant, of the fact that this band is serious, and is not at all a divertissement of the very good American actor and his friends. Super melodic and engaging, the Thirty Seconds to Mars keep the stadium-melodic grandeur, to perform an "electrification" operation of their original rock a bit emo a little pop, a bit alternative and a little bit faded, to enter in a new dimension, which seems interesting to me, and which intrigues me more than the previous one.
