La morte di Luna Vargas viene liquidata come conseguente ad un infarto. Il nuovo e inedito ticket tra la Presidente Mellie Grant ed il Vice Cyrus Beene comincia a funzionare, anche grazie alle manovre sempre più spudorate di Olivia Pope.
Come capita spesso, ma non sempre, le ultime stagioni delle serie che hanno vissuto momenti di grande notorietà, non escono sempre benissimo. E' il caso di Scandal dell'onnipotente Shonda Rhimes, una serie che già dalla stagione precedente (e forse anche da prima) sembrava ormai in picchiata, anche dal punto di vista della bontà della scrittura. Troppi cambi di direzione, voltafaccia ormai innumerevoli, e altre cose che non aiutano certo la scorrevolezza e l'appeal. In questa ultima stagione c'è stato perfino un crossover, con due protagoniste di How to Get Away with Murder dentro un episodio di Scandal, particolare che a mio giudizio non ha cambiato le sorti di un finale di serie non all'altezza delle prime stagioni.
As often, but not always, the last seasons of the series that have experienced moments of great notoriety, do not always come out very well. This is the case of Scandal of the omnipotent Shonda Rhimes, a series that already seemed to be swooping already from the previous season (and perhaps even earlier), also from the point of view of the goodness of writing. Too many changes of direction, innumerable turnaround, and other things that certainly do not help fluency and appeal. In this last season there was even a crossover, with two protagonists of How to Get Away with Murder in an episode of Scandal, thing that in my opinion did not change the fate of a series finale not up to the first seasons.
