Se non ho contato male, Hellbender è l'ottavo disco della band hardcore punk di Seattle, Washington Zeke, band formatasi nel lontano ormai 1992, e che più volte è stata accostata ai mostri sacri Motorhead. Il paragone, debbo dire, non è campato per aria, seppure qua siamo vicini anche al thrash metal. Disco della durata di poco più di 20 minuti, 15 pezzi tutti della durata inferiore ai 2 minuti (alcuni addirittura durano meno di 1!), velocità massima, rock and roll tiratissimo, ritmi quadrati, assoli al fulmicotone, voce urlata, divertimento assicurato.
If I have not counted badly, Hellbender is the eighth full length record of the hardcore punk band of Seattle, Washington Zeke, a band formed in the distant 1992, and that has been repeatedly approached to the sacred monsters Motorhead. The comparison, I must say, is not so wrong, although here we are also close to thrash metal. Album that is lasting just over 20 minutes, 15 tracks all lasting less than 2 minutes (some even last less than 1!), top speed, rock and roll very hard, square rhythms, lightning guitar solos, screaming voice, guaranteed fun.
