Elegante è l'aggettivo che voglio usare per questo primo EP di The Weeknd, nome d'arte di Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, canadese figlio di immigrati etiopi, ex fidanzato di Bella Hadid e Selena Gomez. Lo dico perché pare che l'intero mood del disco, leggermente più scuro, sia ispirato da queste relazioni passate. Lo stile è alternative R&B, e ingloba elementi di dubstep, tra gli altri. Il ragazzo (28 anni) è bravo a scrivere pezzi molto ruffiani e delicati, si fa aiutare nella composizione e nella produzione da pezzi da novanta, il risultato è, come vi ho detto in apertura, estremamente elegante.
Elegant is the adjective I want to use for this first EP of The Weeknd, stage name of Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, a Canadian son of Ethiopian immigrants, ex-boyfriend of Bella Hadid and Selena Gomez. I say this because it seems that the whole mood of the album, slightly darker, is inspired by these past relationships. The style is an alternative R&B, and incorporates dubstep elements, among others. The boy (28 years old) is good at writing very catchy and delicate songs, he is helped in the composition and production from big names, the result is, as I told you at the beginning, extremely elegant.
