John Garcia, oggi 48 anni, nato a San Manuel, Arizona. Icona. Uomo low profile. Lo si ama, incondizionatamente, dal 1990 o giù di lì, dalla prima volta che abbiamo ascoltato la sua voce meravigliosa, ai tempi dei Kyuss, una delle rock band più rimpiante della storia della musica. Lo so, ogni volta vi ripropongo un sacco di luoghi comuni. Terzo disco solista, che si inserisce in una discografia più che robusta, uno stile ormai inconfondibile, un po', come dire, insabbiato ormai in una sorta di bolla temporale. Eppure, non si può non ascoltare ogni nota, sempre con un godimento decisamente superiore alla media. Anche se, alla lunga, ci si inizia a chiedere "what if", come sarebbe in un altro contesto.

We love him, unconditionally, since 1990 or thereabouts, since the first time we listened to his wonderful voice, in the days of Kyuss, one of the rock bands that we miss the most, in the history of music. I know, every time I propose a lot of common places. Third solo album, which is part of a more than solid discography, a style that is now unmistakable, a bit, as if to say, now siled up in a sort of time bubble. And yet, one can not but listen to every note, always with a decidedly above-average enjoyment. Although, in the long run, we start asking "what if", as it would be in another context.
