Secondo disco per il giovane talento irlandese, che include il recente singolo di successo Nina Cried Power, uscito in un EP verso la fine dell'anno passato, e che vede la partecipazione di Mavis Staples. Disco godibile che mescola folk, blues, soul, RNB, il tutto molto modernizzato e cantato da una voce senza dubbio dotata. Eppure, il tutto suona piuttosto artefatto, e non colpisce al cuore. Peccato, ma il ragazzo è giovane.
Second album for the young Irish talent, which includes the recent successful single Nina Cried Power, released in an EP towards the end of last year, and which sees the featuring of Mavis Staples. Enjoyable disc that mixes folk, blues, soul, RNB, all very modernized and sung by a voice without doubt endowed. And yet, it all sounds rather artifact, and does not arrive the heart. Too bad, but the boy is young.
