I Last In Line non sono altro che la line up originale della band Dio senza Ronnie James Dio e con qualche altro ritocco: Vinny Appice alla batteria, Vivian Campbell alle chitarre, Phil Soussan al basso, Andrew Freeman alla voce. Dopo il loro disco di debutto del 2016 Heavy Crown, escono adesso con questo secondo disco, intitolato con poco sforzo II, dove ovviamente sfoggiano un heavy metal / hard rock che segue tutti gli stilemi classici, pezzi dove potrete naturalmente trovare una sezione ritmica solidissima ma "devota alla causa", un chitarrista che si ritaglia, tra un riff e l'altro, lo spazio per sbizzarrirsi in assoli e armonici da manuale, ed un cantante che è molto bravo nel suo genere, ma non è Ronnie James Dio.

After their debut album of 2016 Heavy Crown, they now come out with this second album, titled with little effort II, where they obviously plays heavy metal/hard rock that follows all the classic cliches, tracks where you can naturally find a very solid rhythm section but "devoted to the cause", a guitarist who carves out, between one riff to another, the space to indulge in solos and textbook harmonics, and a singer who is very good in its genre, but is not Ronnie James Dio.
