Gli Hideous Divinity sono una band italiana, di Roma, formatasi nel 2007. Questo è il loro quinto album, e fino a una settimana fa non li avevo mai sentiti neppure nominare, ma questo è il bello di avere conoscenze che ascoltano musica di tutti i tipi e di essere curiosi. Un disco e una produzione che non ha assolutamente nulla da invidiare ad altre che vengono da oltre confine, un technical death metal eseguito in maniera superba da quattro musicisti dalla grande tecnica, e liriche non banali ispirate al cinema e alla filosofia. Un disco che non dà tregua.
Hideous Divinity are an Italian band from Rome, formed in 2007. This is their fifth album, and until a week ago I had never even heard of them, but that's the beauty of having acquaintances who listen to music of every genre and to be curious. A record and a production that has absolutely nothing to envy to others that come from across the border, a technical death metal performed superbly by four musicians with great technique, and non-trivial lyrics inspired by cinema and philosophy. A record that gives no respite.
