Platinum - Miranda Lambert (2014)

Negli USA, Miranda Lambert è una potenza. Da noi, quel tipo di country rock lo ascolta a malapena Monty. Io lo faccio, come sapete, di riflesso, perché mi segnala lui qualche signora piacente (tra l'altro, tra questo disco, del 2014, e quello precedente, di cui vi parlai qui, ha divorziato da Blake Shelton), come la Lambert, che ha quella bellezza statunitense un po' patinata. Dato che nel prossimo novembre uscirà il nuovo The Weight of These Wings, mettiamoci in pari parlando brevemente di questo quinto Platinum. Disco, parlandone dopo quello dei Wilco, di country rock molto pop, e quindi molto accattivante sin dal primo ascolto, che però racchiude testi non banali (Smokin' and Drinkin', Bathroom Sink, Gravity Is a Bitch). Per dire, se lo mettete su mentre viaggiate (test eseguito realmente), non vi annoia sicuramente, e al secondo ascolto vi ritroverete a fare più attenzione ai testi. A differenza di quello dei Wilco.
