Forse non ve lo aspettavate, ma ecco, uscito il 22 febbraio 2019, il dodicesimo disco degli svedesi Candlemass, precursori del genere doom, cosa che non mancano di sottolineare anche con questo titolo. Una delle curiosità è il ritorno alla voce del primissimo cantante Johan Langqvist, l'altra piuttosto rilevante è la partecipazione di sua Maestà Toni Iommi alla terza traccia, Astorolus - The Great Octopus. Il disco è prevedibile, ma tutto sommato una dimostrazione di "salute" della band, una band di ultra-cinquantenni, è bene ricordarlo. Melodia, epicità, potenza e grandi riff di chitarra, niente di nuovo ma cose che, almeno a me, piacciono.
