Una delle creature di Nergal (l'altra sono i Me and that Man, come forse saprete) arriva al dodicesimo album in studio, e devo dire che, nonostante le critiche che lo stesso Nergal riceve giornalmente (dai metallari per essere un "poser", un po' da tutti per avere sempre posizioni molto estreme e schierate chiaramente), la gestione della band è al passo con i tempi: grande attività sui social, produzioni di altissimo livello, videoclip di fattura sopraffina (vedete questo, ad esempio, così come quello allegato al post), anche i dischi sono di grande livello, nel campo del blackened metal. Quest'ultimo non è da meno, gli elementi di maniera ci sono tutti, e l'ascolto, per chi ama il genere, è piacevole. Dall'altra parte, c'è da dire che il tutto è un po' troppo stereotipato, anche se ci sono dei piccoli inserti che provano a diversificare. Per il momento, siamo ancora lontani dalla sperimentazione.
One of Nergal's creatures (the other is Me and that Man, as you may know) arrives at the twelfth studio album, and I must say that, despite the criticism that Nergal himself receives daily (from metalheads for being a "poser", a bit from everyone to always have very extreme and clear positions), the management of the band is in step with the times: great activity on social networks, top-level productions, superfine video clips (see this, for example, as well as the one attached to the post), even the albums are of great level, in the field of blackened metal. The latter is not far behind, the elements of manner are all there, and listening, for those who love the genre, is pleasant. On the other hand, it must be said that the whole is a bit too stereotyped, even if there are some small inserts that try to diversify. For the moment, we are still a long way from experimentation.
