La creatura di Max Cavalera arriva all'undicesimo album, e per fare chiarezza: attualmente questo è il progetto vivente, insieme ai Cavalera Conspiracy e a quello dei Killer Be Killed. Inserito in pianta stabile uno dei figli (adottivi) Zyon alla batteria, Mike Leon al basso dopo l'abbandono di Tony Campos, e sempre con Marc Rizzo alla chitarra solista, una colonna portante del progetto, senza dubbio alcuno, ecco che la novità sta soprattutto nella produzione di Josh Wilbur (un produttore piuttosto in voga adesso, già con i Killer Be Killed). Il risultato è un massiccio disco di death metal che si fonde con il groove metal, dove qua e là ci sono tentativi di sperimentazione world music e addirittura free jazz. Sono episodi sporadici, perché il corpo del disco è potente e decisamente violento, ma si integrano bene con il resto. Un deciso segno di buona salute.
