Forse non sarà nei dieci dischi migliori del 2018, dato il genere, ma sicuramente questo della giovane catalana (25 anni, di San Esteban de Sasroviras, provincia di Barcellona), è uno dei dischi più interessanti ascoltati questo anno. E' il suo secondo, la ragazza si è fatta notare in un talent spagnolo (Tu si que vales) e ha lavorato con La Fura dels Baus, e dimostra una maturità spaventosa. Sposa flamenco e pop, la trap e il soul, l'elettronica rarefatta alla Bjork delle ultime produzioni, la musica da camera e i cori ecclesiastici, usa gli spoken word quando necessario (su Preso c'è nientemeno che Rossy de Palma). Il disco è un concept ispirato ad un racconto occitano anonimo del 1287 intitolato Flamenca, o Roman de Flamenca, ad ogni traccia, oltre al titolo, è abbinato un titolo alternativo (o capitolo), ci sono molti ospiti, e il risultato è oltremodo affascinante. Ci sono singoli che spaccheranno le classifiche (Malamente, Pienso en tu mirà, Di mi nombre lo hanno già fatto, un po' dappertutto), ma il disco non è assolutamente di facile assimilazione. Se siete curiosi, e come dico spesso, vi piacciono le sfide, ecco pane per i vostri denti.
