Terzo album in studio per Charlotte Emma Aitchison, in arte Charli XCX, una delle stelle dell'electropop, contesa anche dai colleghi, a livello di composizione. Il suo terzo disco, inizialmente previsto per il 2017, fu rimandato e rifatto da capo, in seguito ad una fuga del materiale originale, appunto, nel 2017. Ballabile in maniera irresistibile, moderno, pieno di collaborazioni (Christine and the Queens, Sky Ferreira, Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, Tommy Cash, Haim, Lizzo, Big Freedia, Cupcakke, Brooke Candy, Pabllo Vittar, Clairo, Yaeji), quasi troppo lungo. Sicuramente non sono il più accreditato per criticarla, ma riconosco la sua bravura: per l'attesa che c'era, a dispetto dalla bontà di gran parte delle composizioni, mi aspettavo qualcosa di maggiormente innovativo.

Her third album, initially scheduled for 2017, was postponed and redone from scratch, following a leak of the original material, precisely, in 2017. Danceable in an irresistible, modern way, full of collaborations (Christine and the Queens, Sky Ferreira , Troye Sivan, Kim Petras, Tommy Cash, Haim, Lizzo, Big Freedia, Cupcakke, Brooke Candy, Pabllo Vittar, Clairo, Yaeji), almost too long. I am certainly not the most credited for judge her, but I recognize her skill: for the waiting that was there, despite the goodness of most of the compositions, I was expecting something more innovative.
