Salto in avanti: "Gene" collassa al Cinnabon di Omaha, Nebraska, e viene portato all'ospedale. Il medico rileva che non è stato un infarto, e dimette Gene, che però diventa nervoso quando l'infermiera alla reception ha problemi con la sua patente e il suo numero di previdenza sociale. Sul taxi per tornare a casa, Gene ha l'impressione che l'autista sia sospetto, e decide di scendere prima di arrivare a destinazione. Torniamo alla storia principale, ed ecco Jimmy e Kim che ricevono una chiamata da Howard: Chuck è morto nell'incendio della sua stessa abitazione.
Molti critici sostengono già che Better Call Saul, lo spin off di Breaking Bad, abbia superato la serie principale. Onestamente, è difficile da dire. Certo è che il personaggio interpretato in maniera superlativa da Bob Odenkirk, meritava sicuramente una serie tutta sua: la stratificazione e soprattutto, la trasformazione, è ai livelli di quella di Walter White. Ora, non so per quante altre stagioni Gilligan e Gould riusciranno a tirarla per le lunghe, prima di arrivare al Saul Goodman conclamato e avvocato dei malviventi, ma quello che so è che questa serie è un piacere per gli occhi e per la mente. Rinnovata per la quinta stagione.
Many critics already claim that Better Call Saul, the spin-off of Breaking Bad, has surpassed the main series. Honestly, it's hard to say. What is certain is that the character played superbly by Bob Odenkirk, certainly deserved a series of its own: the stratification and above all, the transformation is at the level of that of Walter White. Now, I do not know how many other seasons Gilligan and Gould will be able to pull it for long, before arriving at the well-rounded Saul Goodman, lawyer for the criminals, but what I know is that this series is a pleasure for the eyes and the mind.
