Giudizio sintetico: si può vedere (3/5)
"Unione Sovietica anni '50. Due donne, Natasha ed Olga, lavorano in una mensa di un istituto di ricerca segreto. Dalla mensa passa qualunque tipo di persona da quelle comuni agli scienziati. Fra i tanti che passano Natasha conosce il francese Luc Bigé con cui ha un rapporto sessuale mentre è ubriaco."
Il progetto DAU è una cosa talmente grande che vi invito a leggervi la scheda Wikipedia. Questo è probabilmente l'unico film che è arrivato alla distribuzione internazionale (mentre questo e tutti gli altri sono stati vietati in Russia). I critici lo hanno paragonato a Synecdoche, New York e a The Truman Show, ma secondo il mio modesto parere, qui sono andati oltre. Film faticosissimo da vedere, ma che merita uno sforzo, per il concetto.
The DAU project is such a big thing that I invite you to read the Wikipedia file. This is probably the only film that made it to international distribution (while this and all the others were banned in Russia). Critics have compared it to Synecdoche, New York and The Truman Show, but in my humble opinion, they've gone far here. Very tiring film to watch, but worth the effort, for the concept.
