Sono sicuro (non andrò a rileggermi le mie recensioni precedenti) che ho già detto esattamente le stesse cose a proposito del trio newyorkese. Siamo al nono disco in 28 anni di attività, il ritmo delle loro uscite riflette quello delle loro bellissime canzoni: rilassato, ma pieno d'amore e di bellezza. Del resto, aprire un disco nel 2020 con una traccia che si intitola So Much Love, è un po' un manifesto controcorrente.

Per il resto, i Nada Surf sono una di quelle band dalle quali sai perfettamente cosa aspettarti, ma riescono ogni volta a non deluderti. Semplicemente deliziosi, seppur sempre uguali a loro stessi.
I'm sure (I won't re-read my previous reviews) I have said the same things about the New York trio before. We are on the ninth album in 28 years of activity, the rhythm of their releases reflects that of their beautiful songs: relaxed, but full of love and beauty. After all, opening a record in 2020 with a track called So Much Love is a bit of a counter-current manifesto.

For the rest, Nada Surf are one of those bands from which you know perfectly well what to expect, but they manage every time not to disappoint you. Simply delicious, although always the same as themselves.
