No pain. The world is a wonderful whisper for those who can listen, if necessary in silence.

Apocalisse londinese

London Apocalypticon - Live at the Roundhouse - Kreator (2020)

Do you remember them? I did, but I thought they no longer existed. Instead, this record invites me to reflect on the fact that they are not only still alive, but they have never disbanded, and have continued undaunted to produce records, and they have reached the present day. The survivors of the original line-up are the leader, guitarist and singer Mille Petrozza, now 52 years old, and the drummer Jürgen Reil aka Ventor, almost 54 years old. The Finnish Sami Yli-Sirniö currently accompanies them on solo guitar, he is also with Waltari and Barren Earth, and the French Frédéric Leclercq is on bass, he is also with Sinsaenum and Maladaptive, and he is an ex Dragonforce. This live record is the result of the recording (also on DVD) of the show of December 16, 2018, precisely at the Roundhouse in London, the final evening of the tour that the Germans conducted together with Dimmu Borgir, supported by Hatebreed and Bloodbath. The style has changed little, they seems to be still valid as a live act, and their style reminds us of where death and black metal are coming from.
