Quarto disco della band norvegese, primo dopo l'avvicendamento non solo del cantante, dentro Ivar Nikolaisen al posto di Erlend Hjelvik, e del batterista, dentro Håvard Takle Ohr al posto di Kjetil Gjermundrød. Come si ricorderanno i fedelissimi di fassbinder, seguo questa band fin dal loro debutto, ormai risalente a 10 anni fa; il cambio di cantante mi incuriosiva, ma il risultato è di quelli che lasciano abbastanza soddisfatti: la band non molla di un millimetro, e mantiene ferma la rotta, che è quella di un hard rock indefinibile. I soliti deragliamenti di chitarre, grandi assoli, melodia a piene mani ma mai concessioni pop. Il solito disco dei Kvelertak che ti lascia con il sorriso sulle labbra. Ospiti interessanti, ma prevedibili (Troy Sanders e Nate Newton)
Fourth album by the Norwegian band, first after the alternation not only of the singer, in Ivar Nikolaisen / out Erlend Hjelvik, but also the one of the drummer, in Håvard Takle Ohr / out Kjetil Gjermundrød. As the loyalists of fassbinder will remember, I have been following this band since their debut, now dating back to 10 years ago; the change of singer intrigued me, but the result is one that leaves us quite satisfied: the band does not give up a millimeter, and keeps the course, which is that of an indefinable hard rock. The usual derailments of guitars, great solos, melody with full hands but never pop concessions. The usual Kvelertak record that leaves you with a smile on your lips. Interesting but predictable guests (Troy Sanders and Nate Newton).
