Un disco che rappresenta una delle punte di diamante del metal odierno, da una delle band che dimostra una delle progressioni più impressionanti. Una tavolozza di influenze che parte dai Minor Threat ed arriva ai Nine Inch Nails, proposta con una prepotenza (da leggere nella sua accezione positiva) debordante, un impatto sonoro violentissimo, uno dei migliori in circolazione. Sul giudizio, è una delle poche volte che mi trovo in totale disaccordo con Pitchfork, che lo considera un disco di plagi, mentre sono molto d'accordo con il giudizio di The Guardian. Per me, uno dei dischi dell'anno.

It is undeniable that the thing, if desired, it can heard, listening to the fourth studio album of the band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. An album that represents one of the spearheads of today's metal, from one of the bands that demonstrates one of the most impressive progressions. A palette of influences that starts from the Minor Threat and arrives at the Nine Inch Nails, proposed with a bullying (to be read in its positive sense) overflowing, a violent sound impact, one of the best in circulation. On the judgment, it is one of the few times that I find myself in total disagreement with Pitchfork, who considers it Underneath an album full of plagiarism, while I agree very much with The Guardian's judgment. For me, one of the records of the year.
