Sono arrivati, con questo, al terzo album, i ragazzi di Phoenix, Arizona, che nel frattempo, rispetto al secondo album Deserted, hanno cambiato bassista e uno dei chitarristi. Mi sono riletto quello che avevo scritto in loro proposito nel passato, ho usato molte similitudini (lo so, lo faccio sempre, è un poco irrispettoso ma diciamocelo, lo facciamo tutti, almeno noi appassionati di musica), e stavolta ne userò un'altra ancora: stavolta sembra di ascoltare gli Entombed. Il death metal dei Gatecreeper è quasi privo di blast beat, quindi di tempi veloci e velocissimi, praticamente un death 'n' roll. E, nonostante abbia detto, ancora in passato e ancora a proposito di questa band, che non sono molto originali, vorrei dire che comunque questo death 'n' roll è di pregevolissima fattura, e che i riff che inanellano su questo Dark Superstition sono molto belli e divertenti. Disco che ho ascoltato più volte con grande godimento.

A record that I have listened to several times with great enjoyment.
