Il settimo disco della biondina di Lindale, Texas, conferma che la mia passione per lei non poggia su fondamenta deboli. E' chiaro che siamo in tutt'altro campo, rispetto a quello che usualmente preferisco, e come può immaginare anche il più sprovveduto siamo nel country rock pop (di un certo livello), ma diamine, questa signora di 36 anni (compiuti da poco) sa scrivere canzoni da invidiare per semplicità ed efficacia, e i suoi testi sono schietti da far paura. Cosa ci posso fare se quando sento pezzi come How Dare You Love, mi innamoro dell'amore, ancora una volta?
The seventh album by the blonde from Lindale, Texas, confirms that my passion for her is not based on weak foundations. It is clear that we are in a completely different field, compared to what I usually prefer, and as also the most unprepared dude can imagine, we are in country rock pop (of a certain level), but heck, this 36 years old lady (recently done) can write songs to be envied for simplicity and effectiveness, and her lyrics are straightforward up to the point to be frightening. What can I do if when I hear songs like How Dare You Love, I fall in love of love, once again?
