They're from Bristol, UK, and this is their debut. My friend Beach, who recommended them to me, describes them as Maruja's "twins," and indeed, they're not far off. I think the influence of Rage Against the Machine is perhaps even greater than that on the Manchester band, and while there's also some use of sax here, the result is less experimental and more aggressive. Don't get me wrong: this is an album that punches you for 25 minutes, without ever letting up. Delightful, if that could be said for such overpowering music.
