E' davvero incredibile, e si prova quasi invidia, di quella buona, a pensare che ci sono persone come Caleb Landry Jones che hanno un talento smisurato, e sembra quasi che qualsiasi cosa che abbia a che fare con l'arte, gli riesca senza fatica. Attore intenso, poliedrico, che non ama andare sul sicuro, come musicista (ne abbiamo parlato qui), è altrettanto spavaldo. Rispetto ad un paio di album fa, conserva le influenze di Beatles e Bowie, ma aggiunge grunge e folk. Liriche spesso surreali, e nonostante quello che possa sembrare, leggendo queste righe, il disco si fa ascoltare che è un piacere.
It's truly incredible, and one almost feels envious, of the good kind, to think that there are people like Caleb Landry Jones who have immeasurable talent, and it almost seems that anything that has to do with art, he succeeds without fatigue. An intense, multifaceted actor who doesn't like to play it safe, as a musician (we talked about it here), he is equally bold. Compared to a couple of albums ago, he retains the influences of the Beatles and Bowie, but adds grunge and folk. Often surreal lyrics, and despite what it may seem, reading these lines, the album is a pleasure to listen to.
