Evidentemente, quando vi parlai del loro album precedente Begotten, mi ero confuso, soprattutto per il fatto che le informazioni sugli australiani Bolt Gun sono veramente rare e difficili da decifrare: è questo The Tower il loro terzo album. Ed è un oggetto ancora una volta molto interessante, difficile da catalogare, ma estremamente intrigante e coinvolgente. Siamo dalle parti di quello che possiamo definire avant-garde metal, sfuriate death/black metal unite ad atmosfere decisamente ambient, cupe e ossessive. Come dissi la volta scorsa, solo per chi ama le sfide.
Evidently, when I told you about their previous album Begotten, I was confused, especially due to the fact that information on the Australians Bolt Gun is really rare and difficult to decipher: this is The Tower, their third album. And it is once again a very interesting object, difficult to categorise, but extremely intriguing and engaging. We are in the area of what we can define as avant-garde metal, death/black metal outbursts combined with decidedly ambient, dark and obsessive atmospheres. As I said last time, only for those who love challenges.
