Siamo arrivati all'undicesimo album della band canadese, dopo oltre 20 anni di attività, senza grandi cambiamenti di rilievo nel loro stile, suonando e proponendo uno degli hard rock più scontati che esistano, con liriche che per non offendere definirei "sempliciotte", e, come mi chiedevo ieri sera, riflettendo sul senso della vita, non so perché, ma uno dei misteri della vita stessa è il perché mi piacciano ancora i Danko Jones. E non chiedetemelo, il perché: è così e basta.
We have arrived at the Canadian band's eleventh album, after over 20 years of activity, without major changes in their style, playing and proposing one of the most obvious hard rock that exists, with lyrics that, so as not to offend, I would define as "simple", and , as I asked myself last night, reflecting on the meaning of life, I don't know why, but one of the mysteries of life (itself) is why I still like Danko Jones.
