Sesto disco per gli Alter Bridge. E' effettivamente difficile, guardare la loro discografia, accorgersi che pubblicano un disco regolarmente ogni tre anni fin dalla loro formazione, tenere conto degli innumerevoli altri impegni che tutti i membri della band portano avanti escludendo questo, e non sospettare che ci sia qualcosa di forzoso, simile al lavoro d'ufficio, in questo. Poi, come sempre si cerca di fare un'astrazione, non farsi condizionare dal resto, e giudicare per quello che si sente. E quello che si sente è uno di quei lavori che sul momento può risultare anche parzialmente interessante, per un amante del metal classico, ma totalmente dimenticabile. Non ci sono canzoni killer, bisogna aspettare dieci tracce per un assolo decente, e come sempre, su tutte le tracce si ha costantemente la sensazione di un coito interrotto, perché manca sempre qualcosa. C'è già chi si domanda se per gli Alter Bridge sia cominciata la parabola discendente. Probabilmente, è iniziata dal 2010, e stiamo solo assistendo all'agonia.
