Stranissimo pastiche quello della cantautrice anglo-giapponese Rina Sawayama, alla quale sono arrivato totalmente per caso, e non ricordo neppure come. Devo dire che sono rimasto sorpreso quando ho visto che Pitchfork ha assegnato al suo debutto sulla lunga distanza (dopo l'EP Rina del 2017) un 7,7/10. Voce notevole, carriera anche da modella, laureata in Scienze Politiche, si identifica come bisessuale e pansessuale al tempo stesso (un bel modo di confondere le idee), e musicalmente è come se mettesse insieme Celine Dion, Korn, Evanescence, Dua Lipa e Britney Spears, con uno sguardo insistente verso la fine degli anni '90 e i primi 2000. Il disco è puro intrattenimento pop, e molte canzoni sono divertenti, seppur già sentite. Chissà come procederà il suo stile nel futuro.

Notable voice, career also as a model, graduated in Political Sciences, she identifies herself as bisexual and pansexual at the same time (a nice way to confuse ideas), and musically it is as if she put together Celine Dion, Korn, Evanescence, Dua Lipa and Britney Spears, with an insistent look in the late 90s and early 2000s. The album is pure pop entertainment, and many songs are fun, albeit already heard. Who knows how her style will proceed in the future.
