Al terzo disco, Myrkur, progetto black metal folk di Amalie Bruun, dimostra che quelli che ci hanno creduto hanno fatto bene, al di là dell'avvenenza della ragazza, anche modella e attrice. Dico questo perché un intero disco di canzoni di folk scandinavo non è sorprendente, dopo quanto avevamo ascoltato da lei nel passato, ma quantomeno è estremamente coraggioso. Detto questo, il disco è proprio bello, se ci si pone all'ascolto senza preconcetti. La voce è splendida ed eterea, e lo sapevamo, gli strumenti prevalentemente etnici (nyckelharpa, lira, mandola) e usati in maniera adeguata insieme a percussioni rare e rarefatte, archi quanto basta, una sapiente composizione e liriche ispirate a poemi d'epoca o comunque a miti pagani o legati alla natura. Il risultato è estremamente suggestivo, e ci mette ancora più curiosità rispetto a quale sarà il suo prossimo passo.
