L'estate ci ha consegnato anche l'ottavo disco dei Bush, con un nuovo batterista rispetto al disco precedente. Più o meno possiamo ripetere le stesse cose, perché ben poco cambia nel loro stile. Ci sono da annotare meno ballate, più mid tempos, le solite liriche romantico-decadenti di Rossdale, che appare sempre in ottima forma vocale, e una certa aggressività ritrovata nelle ritmiche. Sempre belle le melodie, alla fine il quartetto riesce sempre a regalarci dischi onesti e qualche momento di bellezza. La storia della musica difficilmente riserverà loro un posto d'onore, ma noi (io e altri) guarderemo a loro sempre con una certa simpatia.
The summer also brought us the eighth Bush album, with a new drummer compared to the previous album. We can more or less repeat the same things, because very little changes in their style. There are fewer ballads to be noted, more mid tempos, Rossdale's usual decadent romantic lyrics, Rossdale which always appears in excellent vocal form, and a certain aggressiveness found back in the rhythms. Always beautiful melodies, in the end the quartet always manages to give us honest records and some moments of beauty. The history of music will hardly reserve them a place of honor, but we (myself and others) will always look at them with a certain kindness.
