The Second Wave - Khoma (2006)
Oggi parliamo del secondo album degli svedesi Khoma, band che condivide alcuni membri con i più famosi Cult of Luna, e che a tutt'oggi, formatisi nel 2002, ha pubblicato quattro album. Autori di un metal che sta a cavallo tra il post rock ed il progressive metal, sono ottimi musicisti e si fregiano di un ottimo cantante, Jan Jämte, che riesce a dare quel tocco in più ad ogni brano. Questo The Second Wave è un disco molto interessante, intenso, melodico, potente, con grandi arrangiamenti ariosi sostenuti perfino da orchestrazioni sinfoniche, che lascia il segno nell'ascoltatore.
Today we talk about the second album by the Swedes Khoma, a band that shares some members with the most famous Cult of Luna, and which to date, formed in 2002, has released four albums. Authors of a metal that straddles post rock and progressive metal, they are excellent musicians and boast an excellent singer, Jan Jämte, who manages to give that extra touch to each song. This The Second Wave is a very interesting, intense, melodic, powerful record with great airy arrangements even supported by symphonic orchestrations, which leaves its mark on the listener.
