A partire dalla formazione della band, si capisce che il potenziale è grande. Jess Allanic, chitarra e voce (spesso in modalità urlata, ma non solo) viene dal Venezuela, e dopo essersi trasferita in Francia conosce Alizon Taho, basso e cori. D'accordo su un progetto musicale, si trasferiscono a Londra, dove conoscono, e mettono a posto la formazione definitiva, il batterista Ben Parker, che da un po' di anni era arrivato dalla Nuova Zelanda. Over the Threshold è il loro terzo album, ed è una delle cose più fresche che ascolterete, non solo in campo metal. Tra l'altro, è un po' difficile incasellarli solo nel metal. C'è del post grunge, dell'alt-rock, del metal estremo, quasi deathcore, e, come si potrebbe immaginare, c'è una spruzzata di latin rock, quantomeno perché alcune tracce sono cantate in castigliano. Provateli, non credo ve ne pentirete, e non smettete mai di credere e praticare il passaparola.

Jess Allanic, guitar and vocals (often in screamo mode, but not only) comes from Venezuela, and after moving to France she met Alizon Taho, bass and backing vocals. Having agreed on a musical project, they moved to London, where they met, and put together the definitive line-up, drummer Ben Parker, who had arrived from New Zealand a few years ago. Over the Threshold is their third album, and it's one of the freshest things you'll hear, not just in metal. Besides, it's a bit difficult to pigeonhole them into metal alone. There's some post grunge, some alt-rock, some extreme metal, almost deathcore, and, as you might imagine, there's a splash of Latin rock, at least because some tracks are sung in Spanish. Try them, I don't think you will regret it, and never stop believing and practicing word of mouth.
